Everything you need to set up and manage your equipment rentals with Click Clock Go.

Getting Started

Click Clock Go is a free, web-based rental management solution that uses QR codes to track equipment rentals in real time. No app installation required for you or your customers.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Create your account
Visit app.clickclockgo.com and sign up with your email address. Your account is completely free with no hidden fees.
  2. Set up your pricing grids
Before adding equipment, create at least one pricing grid to define your rental rates. Go to the "Pricing" tab to configure duration-based pricing tiers.
  3. Add your equipment
In the "Equipment" tab, add each piece of rental equipment. Give it a name, optional description, and assign a pricing grid.
  4. Print and attach QR codes
Each equipment item gets a unique QR code. Download and print them, then attach them securely to your equipment.
  5. Start renting
Your customers scan the QR code with their smartphone, enter the optional PIN code, and the rental timer begins automatically.
Tip: Click Clock Go works entirely in the web browser. Your customers don't need to download any app to rent your equipment.

Pricing Grids

Pricing grids are the foundation of your rental business in Click Clock Go. They define how much customers pay based on rental duration.

Creating a Pricing Grid

Navigate to the "Pricing" tab and click "Create grid". Give your grid a descriptive name like "Bicycle hourly rates" or "Kayak daily rental".

Setting Up Duration Tiers

Each pricing grid consists of duration tiers. For example:

Example: Bicycle Rental Pricing
Up to 1 hour €5
Up to 2 hours €8
Up to 4 hours €12
Full day (8 hours) €20
Overtime rate €3/hour

Overtime Pricing

When a rental exceeds your last defined tier, the overtime hourly rate applies. Set this to €0 if you don't want to charge for overtime, or configure a per-hour fee that gets added after the maximum tier duration.

Tip: You can create multiple pricing grids for different equipment types or seasonal rates, then easily switch which grid applies to each piece of equipment.

Equipment Management

The Equipment tab is where you manage your entire rental inventory. Each item you add becomes trackable via its unique QR code.

Adding Equipment

Click "Add equipment" and fill in the following:

Equipment Status

Your equipment can have three states:

Available

Ready to rent. QR code scanning will show the rental start button.

Rented

Currently in use. Displays active timer and current price when scanned.

Inactive

Disabled by you. Cannot be rented until reactivated.

Filtering Equipment

Use the "Show available only" toggle to quickly see which equipment is ready for rental. This is helpful during busy periods when you need to quickly identify available inventory.

QR Codes

Each piece of equipment has a unique QR code that links directly to its rental page. QR codes are the heart of Click Clock Go's contactless rental system.

Downloading QR Codes

From the Equipment tab, click the QR code icon next to any equipment item. You'll see options to:

Printing Recommendations

Important: Each QR code is unique to its equipment. If you replace an equipment item, remember to generate and print a new QR code.

Rental Process

Click Clock Go provides a seamless rental experience that requires no app download for your customers.

Starting a Rental

  1. Customer scans the QR code
Using their smartphone's camera or any QR scanner app, they point at the code on your equipment.
  2. Rental page opens
They see the equipment name, description, and full pricing information in their browser.
  3. PIN entry (if enabled)
If you've enabled PIN protection, the customer enters the 4-digit code you provided.
  4. Rental begins
They tap "Start Rental" and the timer starts counting. The price updates in real-time.

During the Rental

While equipment is rented, customers can scan the QR code again to see:

Ending a Rental

When the customer returns the equipment, they scan the QR code and tap "End Rental". The system displays the final duration and total price. The equipment immediately becomes available for the next customer.
